More about the HRDF
The HRDF, short for Human Resource Development Fund, was established in 1993 via the Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad Act, 2001. The Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF) is being administered by Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (PSMB), an Agency under the Ministry of Human Resources.
Employers which come under the purview of the Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad Act, 2001 must contribute a percentage of their employees salary to the HRDF. This objective of the fund is to encourage employers to retrain and upgrade the skills of their employees, apprentices and trainees in line with their business needs and the development strategy of the country. The ultimate aim of the HRDF is to develop quality human capital and a world-class workforce in achieving a high income economy based on knowledge and innovation in the nation’s quest to attain the status of a developed country by the year 2020.
Classes of Training providers
There are many other classes of training provider. Our company comes under the training provider category C(SVO), as provided for under the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), which allows us to conduct in-house or public training programmes at hotels, rented training premises or employers’ premises.
Why the Train The Trainer certificate is important
When employers submit their applications for financial assistance under the SBL Scheme, they need to attach the certificate of accomplishment of HRDF Train-The-Trainer programme.
